So i want to hook my laptop that i have downstairs up to my TV. What cord do i need to do so? VGA or someshit? I don't want to go into a store and not have a god damn clue what im looking for. Thanks.

Well my TV is faily new and has a VGA outlet, so i use my desktop VGA cord and plug it in from my laptop to my tv. Im pretty sure they have VGA/red, white, yellow cords, not sure what they are called though.

Ok thanks. Just making sure it is VGA. My TV is only like a month old so it has like every outlet in the world on it.
