Well since Rondo is apparently on the market, I want him to run the Lakers. Lets get him.

I rather run with D fish and let Brown develop because hes a boss. I think Rondo will stay in Boston unless someone gives them a redic. 2 player trade with RayRay.

Rondo > Fish. Plus he's like 10 years younger. Brown is a boss though. Jeff Van called him Chris Brown lol, I thought he looked like him too.

You'd be crazy not to want Rondo on your team as a lakers fan, but you won't be able to. Boston would want a lot for him and he's not worth getting rid of Odom or Ariza. Rondo is a great player and a future star, but don't change something that's already working for you especially if it means giving up a key piece of your championship team. If he was on the FA market that's a different story, but trading for him isn't the right move for the Lakers.

I can't see how the Magic aren't going to be the favorites next year. Getting rid of Lee isn't good for the long run but if Hedo stays they're going to be ridic.

Lakers will NOT repeat. Healthy KG + Rondo, Pierce, Allen = Championship. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if the C's get 4 players named to the all-star game next year.

KG won't stay healthy. Plus, he had lost a step last year, this leg injury will only make it worse. And I also don't think the Magic can keep Hedu. And I do think the Lakers would beat the Celtics if both made it to the Finals. Assuming the Lakers can keep Odom and Ariza.

Exactly why i said Keep Fish. Why replace him when Fish has won 4 rings with Kobe and Phil. Not to mention, Fish is Phil's most favored player on that team. I won't lie, Rondo is good but i rather have someone who knows the triangle offense and has been there many times. Shannon will become his own in a few years and replace Fish. No worrys.

sweet, all of them were like 5 years ago.

notice how when he got traded off the nuggets they went from a 6-8 seed to the 2 seed in the west making the western conference finals.

They didn't look promising. They played good basketball for 2 weeks. Rockets will never be good.

don't expect iverson to do ANYTHING special the rest of his career.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA

17-4. 1st place all season??? You beat me on a week I didn't make a single move. Skunks the only one that legitimately beat me.

As for the broken rockets team that took the champs to 7 games, missing both all stars. They had you scared. Don't hate.

Lets be serious, LA didn't play Laker basketball against Houston. yea it went 7 but Houston was never a contending team.

OT: I don't like Randy Moss but hes a monster and top 3 receivers in the game by far. I don't care who the QB is.

Once again, Boston vs Lakers in finals.
Boston lost a step in age but still a very talented team and still knows how to win. LA may lose Phil as a coach and Ariza or Odom as a player but they still are the most talented team in the NBA imo and if you have Kobe you have one of the best chances in the West. Expect Spurs to make a great run if they are healthy.

If Hedo resigns with Orlando (which is pretty much going to happen) and Dwight makes improvements on his post game, they will give Boston a run for their money. Not to mention you have Vince Carter who is A GREAT scorer and well, Vince Carter.

Shaq on CLE will be a huge upgrade but lets be serious they won't get it done. Shaq is old and i don't think BronBron knows how to win yet. Shaq had a great season last year as an 'old' guy but i don't see him repeating it in a new system with LeBron. Its not the Shaq that won with LA and Miami. I am not counting out CLE because they definitely have a shot at the East and the Finals. I just think experience takes you a long ways and Boston has that factor.

Once again Boston vs LA/Spurs.

Kobe the 2nd greatest NBA player to play. ;)

Bringing in VC pretty much means Hedo isn't staying. Toronto and Portland have both shown interest in him, and they both have the money to throw at him.

Shaq never left. He had one bad season because of his knee and a systemthat obviously wasn't built for him. Cleveland has the chance of dumping Verajao and picking up Villanueva from the bucks or even sheed. That could make them a scary team. If either of those deals go through Clevelands coming out of the east. Otherwise I agree it's Boston.

San Antonio picking up Richard Jefferson is huge. If Manu is back to being an all star there gonna be the team in the west.

Lakers can't afford Ariza and Odom. Plus Phil Jackson might retire. But when you have Kobe, none of that really matters.

He's more important than Odom imo, but no sense in over paying him.

He's more important than Odom imo, but no sense in over paying him. He's not going anywhere. I think the talks about going to Cleveland are to scare LA and maybe get more money, just like Kurt Warner did with the 49ers. There would be no point in leaving LA for Cle, he would get paid probably the same, but he has already won a championship with LA and he's from LA, so why leave?

lakers signed artest

idk how i like this move, artest is a great player and will bring a defensive mindset to the team but ariza has a terrific future ahead of him. also, odom and artest played high school ball together.

I didn't agree with that either, but they've got a small window to win a championship.

If the raps can manage to keep Anthony Parker or Carlos Delfino, or even Demar Derozan can develop into a starting 2, they can manage to keep Bosh in Toronto.
