I'm a big fan of politics, so i thought why not make a thread. If you want to debate, don't just say dumb shit. Back it up.

Discuss US politics.

Maybe this thread will convince Timdicator to post here!

On topic:

I voted McCain, what of it?

Rofl, Timdicator.

Anyone see this? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/06 ... documents/ (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/06/01/judge-orders-release-gitmo-legal-documents/) - I think it would prove a lot of the interrogation we did, would prove it was just. I hope the judges rule the White House has to release them.

I'm a big Fox News fan but i'm not a republican. I just honestly think they have the best news.

I think the Internet has the best news!

Meaning I have no preference but have CNN and AP bookmarked.

I don't consider myself a republican but i lean a little bit on the right side of the political spectrum. I find that Fox News is incredibly bias and I refuse to watch it. Glenn Beck might be the biggest idiot on tv. O'Reily "claims" he's an independent but he's clearly a conservative. The only show worth watching on Fox News is Special Report with Britt Hume, but Hume retired. I don't know the new guy on the show, but the panel on that show does a very good job of staying unbiased even though most of them are editors for conservative magazines.

Although I'm still on the fence about Glenn Beck, I do like some of the messages he's sending out. I think he does it the way he does to entertain the masses, because you need someone with that obscure energy to get people behind you and get your point accross. That being said he's actually one of the only people on Fox News I can listen to.

Bill can die in a fire.
Sean can go jump off a bridge into a wet ditch.

The only other source I really get my news from is Bill Maher on HBO and the internet.

I'm freaking scared about this economy though and I'm only 19. Seriously, I wouldn't mind moving south and living cheap ass apartment around the beach with internet, work a part time, and spend my time on the beach. The only things I would buy would be food, a gym membership, and an xbox live subsription. It's kind of my dream to be honest, but I'd rather be financially secure and be around my family and friends than have my dream come true.

I'm also thinking about buying a gun. I don't wanna be defenseless if shit hits the fan.

I feel you on all aspects, Frank. I forgot about Sean, he might have the most annoying voice ever.

I might have to transfer schools cause it's so damn expensive and I'm not trying to pay off a shitload of debt after school and not have a job because of the economy.

Also, MSNBC is the WORST news channel in the world. Chris Matthews can suck a dick.

CNN ain't bad but i want to fall asleep listening to half of them. Especially Larry King.
