It was alright, but I tend to like the run of the hill sleazy horror movies. It started off well, but it went downhill about half way through. It ended up being your typical scary child movie for the most part. I enjoyed the movie, but it's in no way great or anything. My 8/10 is based on how much I enjoyed the movie. I downloaded it, but I still would've saw it in theaters and had I not been so lazy.

Yeah the Black Frieghter(sp?) part will be pretty cool. It was pretty good in the book, it would probably be easier to follow if it were animated. I was never really into it, just a personal thing. Didn't interest me immediately

the alien doesn't fit the plot, it just comes out of nowhere. Veidt's genetically altered creatures is just weird and out of place, and that he uses some global psychic shit to make survivors think that it was the first of many alien attacks to come is ridiculous. The "aliens" just come out of nowhere. It made much more sense for people of the world who know who Dr. Manhattan is and what he is capable of to believe that he is the common enemy. He was publicly accused of causing cancer in his colleagues and the pestering royally pissed him off. They just as easily could have figured he'd take out some anger on stupid illogical humans.

Watched RocknRolla (7/10) and Raising Arizona (7/10)

RocknRolla was better than I expected, better than Layer Cake (Yes I realize Guy Ritchie didn't direct Layer Cake), but not as good as Lock, Stock and Snatch. I may check out Revolver now as I had heard bad things about both films.

Finally made it through Raising Arizona, every other time I've attempted to watch it (since I was 17, I was drunk and near the point of passing out).
