Just got my computer back from the local computer shop and everything works great naow except that i guess reformatting your hard drive makes your computer think theirs no sound card.

Anyone know what to do?

Pretty much the answer to everything dealing with a computer is to download drivers.

Go to the company that makes your sound card's website and find some drivers.

All right I tried tubby's idea, didn't work. now I'm trying the driver thing. This seems to be working better.

Reinstall the drivers.
