Vista is just as bad as everyone makes it out to be, if not worse. I got it at release only to reinstall xp a few weeks later, complete waste of money and space. Worst operating system ever. Windows 7 appears to show a bit more promise, one can only hope.

Complete opposite of me. I got it at release and havent had a single complaint about Vista. Your experience is mainly determined by how good your computer is. If you have a piece of shit and get Vista, you will hate it. Its the opposite if you have a decent set up.

What are the system requirements for it? Software is dependant on hardware. It will tell you a recommended OS and cpu speed, RAM, processor, etc.

affa programs and he fucking hates visa with a passion. he switched over to macs because it sucks so much dick. but he also does graphic design and works at a music stuidio and he is getting final cut pro so that probably has something to do with it.

I do ALOT of music editing, since I have a home recording studio and record all my own instruments, and PC's really are just as good as Macs for Music editing, despite what you hear. It really just is personal preference. And jeff, it's not that vista crashes on me or has errors alot, it's just a poorly designed operating system.
i hate the start menu and how you explore through folders and shit. it could be much better.

AMD Phenom 9650 Quad-core Processor 2.30 GHz
8.00 GB RAM
64-bit operating system
Somehow it still lags/freezes up on me way too much. I don't know what else to blame it on other than vista.
i have vista on an HP Core 2 Quad @ 2.40GHz, 3GB RAM, 32-bit OS
was working just dandy until I installed service pack 2, now the fucking thing won't boot.
And basically, Vista was a live beta tester for Windows 7

I walk out of my room and two of my roommates are wearing legit UFC sweat suits.
They claim today things are gonna change, as there out there playing MLB The Show 09 and drinking beers, but at least it is a light beer.
One of the most random moments of my life.
Ya, it must be a problem with Vista.

Logic 9 came out relatively recently and I have a pirated copy of said software. I've used Logic enough to have a feel for the software and its pretty complicated.
