i beat campaign on legendary over 9000 times. never really lanned it aside from like 3 person ffas in the 7th grade. i'm probably not too good at multiplayer.

I used to lan a few times a month, and lan'ed h1 at every event I have ever been to. I'm pretty good, I'm not amazing. But just get me a weapons timer and I'm pretty good to go.

Yeah, pretty much the same thing with me. I've only played good people on XBC a few times but I can keep up decently. I'd really like to go down to Chicago sometime and lan with those guys.

I'm tonssss better at 2 and 3 but I'm naturally good at everything I do, so there. I haven't ever been to a serious h1 lan but I do xbc and when the connection is good I'm alright.

Halo 1 is such a different game than 2 and 3 that you will definitely get thrashed by good players if you've never LANned.

Also, I hate people that try to throw in how much they like Halo 1 while playing other games with me. I'm like, Oh if 'they' 'brought back' Halo 1 you'd be all over that? You're so sick on LAN and all that...can you shut up and play this game because I played H1 for years and don't need to go back to XBC. It's fine in my memory without the hordes of idiots willing to boost, mod, and whore for friends list shit who made H2/H3 as disgusting as it was.

I remember quitting H1 after going to a Dallas tourny in like 03 and getting slapped by Enigma and Viruz.

I played XBC and Gamespy in 2001. I didn't go to tournaments for a number of personal reasons until Atlanta 05.

I'm god awful at Halo1....I was the casual type of gamer when it came out.
I would just get together with like 8 friends who weren't very good and play shitty gametypes like Prisoner rockets and Longest shotties.

I'm sure anyone here would dump all over me in a real gametype.
Nevertheless, I like a game that I am god awful at rather than the easy game like CoD that me and every other chump are amazing at.
